Context

Network service development covering dynamic proxy mappings, cloud-phone session forwarding and traffic billing, connecting network sessions to business usage reporting.

Workflow

  1. Gateway entry
  2. Proxy / session mapping
  3. Forwarding chain
  4. Traffic and usage

Implementation

Manage forwarding chains dynamically

Created and removed multi-hop forwarding chains and proxy mappings through GOST APIs. Managed port allocation and recycling, connectivity checks, traffic collection and state synchronization.

Manage WSS connection lifecycles

Used Caddy for HTTPS / WSS entry points and Go with Redis for session mappings. Handled bidirectional video forwarding, heartbeats and connection timeouts.

Connect acceleration to the business gateway

Built a SOCKS5 gateway integrated with AWS Global Accelerator, with mapping management, quotas and traffic billing.

Report usage reliably

Used a database Outbox and RabbitMQ for batch usage reporting, connecting business records with asynchronous delivery.

Delivery and scope

Implemented proxy-chain management, session-based bidirectional video forwarding, quotas and usage reporting. AWS Global Accelerator provides the acceleration entry point; the business gateway manages mappings and traffic.
